Internship at SAP Global Comm', Walldorf, 20-25.08.13
Hi everyone,
Sorry I’m late- I had to make sure that I could use the pictures which will be featured here.
“Here”, is the short insight of my one-week internship at SAP Global Communications (the internal comm’ department of SAP, the 4th biggest software-engineering company in the world) at Walldorf. This small German town is where it all began in 1972, hence the huge size of the SAP-facilities (almost 15,000 people work there!). There are 21 buildings, and it sometimes took me 15 minutes to go from one to another by foot. SAP Info is located in building 1 (or WDF1), on the 4th floor. From there, a huge crosswalk leads to WDF18… I looked through its glass walls a few times a day, while hurrying to get to a shooting appointment in time. That’s because, being the only available photographer at SAP Info that week, my colleagues liked the idea of me taking pictures of everything happening during these five days. So they put a short article with my face on the SAP intern-web portal, encouraging other employees to invite me to intern events. After twenty or so appointments, “Walldorf In Action” was born: a collection of artistic and informative pictures destined to show the every-day events of the life at SAP Headquarters in Walldorf. It was a really fun week, and seeing the enthusiasm of the people involved in this project really makes me want to become a photo-journalist.
For privacy and security reasons, this photo report has to be kept internal only, except for the few pictures I can show here.
Enjoy!
